| Annemieke Golly Dr. Golly is a certified special education teacher and has taught children with behavior and conduct disorders for the past 18 years. Dr. Golly earned her Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of Oregon. Her areas of expertise are Preventive Interventions, Behavior Management, Classroom and School-wide Management. She is currently working at the Institute on Violence and Destructive Behavior at the University of Oregon as a program coordinator, teacher trainer, and behavioral consultant. Dr. Golly has been a coordinator for designing and implementing an early intervention program, First Step to Success, for the past 8 years. She trained hundreds of teachers and consultants to implement school and home interventions for kindergarten students who are at risk for anti-social behavior. Dr. Golly recently co-authored a training manual for Effective School and Classroom Management (B.E.S.T. Manual). She has worked as a consultant/trainer to implement behavior management strategies in the United States, Canada, The Virgin Islands, Germany and South Africa. She has taught numerous university courses and school district teacher and parent training courses. Dr. Golly has been a supervisor and Master teacher for student teachers of the University of Oregons Handicapped Learner Program for 10 years. |
